There’s also a splendid buffet at the Move pick Hotel that explores cuisines from all over the world. McGettingan’s is a popular, fully licensed bar with some of the biggest matches and sports tournaments on display.
Dignified Ones
Jumeirah Lakes Towers is home to four big hotels and apartments serviced by hotels. It is increasingly growing into a district that is near Dubai’s iconic places, but still away from the city’s hustle and bustle. JLT is looking to draw people who don’t want to be in the middle of Marina, but still want convenient access to Sheikh Zayed Lane, Dubai Metro, and the rest of Dubai Developers, with two more hotels expected within the next two years. This district has become very popular with commuters who use the two metro stations within the area due to JLT’s ideal position.
Peacefulness
One of Jumeirah Lakes Towers’ main highlights is that it features serene lakes, which provide tourists and residents with a calm climate. One of the lakes has become a park of 55,000 square meters, allowing green open spaces to enjoy recreation, parties, sports, jogging, and even the ever-growing culture of dog-walking. A community market is held on this new green area every third Thursday, enabling residents and tourists to meet & greet while shopping handmade crafts and second-hand pieces.
The construction of the Saba Tower in December 2006 was the first tower in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers to be completed. In 2008, much of the building took place. By April 2011, over 80 percent of JLT’s towers had been completed. The final plot-purchase was done with DLD late last year.
As compared to other regions, the drop in prices seen throughout Dubai did not affect JLT. Sales prices dropped to an average of just 1.6 percent, while rentals saw a decrease of 3.8 percent, well below the average in Dubai than anywhere else. This has contributed to the high confidence of investors in this district.
Within Jumeirah Lakes Towers, there are many new luxury projects added to this district. Dubai Star Tower has just completed the building’s exterior phase and is now working on its interior portion, while The Residences is a high-end project featuring a five-star hotel, whereas the MAG Group is now building its new MBL Residences in its exclusive Cluster.
